Warrior Poet es una banda procedente de Madrid (SP), formada en 2009 por el vocalista Carlos Pavón, el batería Javi Martín y el guitarrista Dani Pereira.

En 2009 la banda publicó un EP autoeditado (homónimo) con 5 canciones sin el apoyo de ninguna discográfica, radios o televisiones, el cual le sirvió para dar diversos conciertos y conseguir un considerable número de fans.

En Febrero de 2010 Warrior Poet volvió al estudio en Italia para llevar a cabo la grabación de su primer álbum “THE PROMISE” en los estudios Aemme Records, producido por Pietro Foresti y mezclado y masterizado en Los Angeles (CA) por Salvatore Addeo, Sylvia Massy, Rich Veltrop y Joe Gastwirt (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down, Pearl Jam...).

Scott Russo de la banda Americana Unwritten Law (nº1 USA) se unió al proyecto cantando una canción con WP (The Promise)

En el verano de 2010 WP firma con la discográfica independiente MALDITO RECORDS publicando su primer single “The Promise Feat. Scott Russo”. Lo que les llevó a alcanzar el Nº 1 en las listas de éxitos de radios FM como Peperadio (89.3 FM Madrid).

El 6 de Septiembre de 2010 publican su álbum debut “The Promise”.

Desde el día de su lanzamiento han cosechado innumerables buenas críticas entre la mejor prensa de Rock del panorama nacional como Heavy Rock, Kerrang!, Rock Estatal, etc., catalogando a THE PROMISE de “Brillante”, “Sorprendente”, “Pasional” o “Aplastante”.

El 29 de Octubre de 2010 la banda presenta su disco en Madrid en la sala Caracol con un lleno absoluto y tras la buena acogida de prensa y público, Warrior Poet son nominados a los "Premios Music News Television" como mejor álbum nacional del año. Con nominaciones también en "Los Premios De La Música 2010" compitiendo en la misma categoría.

Warrior Poet ha compartido escenario con artistas de la talla de Alter Bridge (USA), Bonafide (Suecia), Vinila Von Bismark (España) o Gunshot (Francia).

WP ganó el primer premio del "Auditorio Joven 2011"

El 20 de junio de 2011 Warrior Poet abrió el show de la banda norteamericána Alter Bridge.

Carlos Pavón recibió el premio como mejor calidad vocal en el mes de Junio

La banda ha confirmado que están trabajando en su segundo trabajo el cual será lanzado en la primavera de 2012.

Warrior Poet is a European rock band, originally from Madrid (SP), formed in 2009 by vocalist Carlos Pavon, drummer Javi Martin and guitarist Dani Pereira.

In 2009 the band released an EP (Self Titled) with 5 tracks without the support of a label, radio or television exposure, wich helped them to play several gigs and reach a considerable number of fans.

In February 2010 Warrior Poet came back to the studio in Italy (LC) for the recording of their first album “THE PROMISE” in Aemme Records Studios, produced by Pietro Foresti and mixed and Mastered in Los Angeles (California) by Salvatore Addeo, Sylvia Massy, Rich Veltrop and Joe Gastwirt (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down, Pearl Jam...).

Scott Russo from the American rock band Unwritten Law joined the project singing a song with WP (“The Promise”).

In the summer of 2010 Warrior Poet signs with the Independent Record Label MALDITO RECORDS releasing “The Promise Feat. Scott Russo”, reaching #1 on FM Radio charts such as Peperadio (89.3 FM Madrid).

September 6th 2010 they released their debut album “The Promise”.

The album was a success in the nacional rock press such as Heavy rock, Kerrang!, or Rock Estatal, considering the album as “Brilliant”, “Passionate” or “Extraordinary”

October 29th 2010 the band put on a show with all the tickets sold out in Caracol (Madrid) and after the good press and public reception, WP were nominated to “Music News Television Awards” for “BEST ROCK ALBUM”, as well as “Premios De La Música” for “BEST ALTERNATIVE ROCK ALBUM"

Warrior Poet’s shared stage with bands such as Alter Bridge (USA,) Bonafide (Sweden), Vinila Von Bismark (Spain) or Gunshot (France).

WP won the Auditorio Joven 2011 in Hortaleza

June 20th Warrior Poet opened for the american rock band Alter Bidge in one of the most prestigious clubs in Spain (Heineken)

Carlos Pavon recieved an award for best vocal quality

The band's confirmed that they are working on their second album and it will be released on spring 2012
